When Cynthia first gave me the tour around the 88 acres of the Gallatin River Hideaway, I was enamored with a grove of aspen trees on the property. (They may actually be small cottonwoods, not sure!) But I love them anyway. I have always loved the stark white and black lines of the aspen tree! So we planned a styled shoot with some wonderful vendors and it was awesome. We had not one but two flower crowns and brought our talented hairstylist along to change up the look.
The blush color of the wedding dress and vibrant colors of the bouquet played to the starkness of Montana in early April. April may be green in some states, but in Montana, the weather is still very wintery! For jewelry we had a vintage inspired Morganite & rose gold ring and a brilliant blue Montana Sapphire ring from The Gem Gallery in Bozeman. We finished off the look with a couple of loose, bohemian hairstyles and a long, flowing veil.

Thanks to the awesome team of vendors who make shoots like this possible! Some of the finest wedding vendors in Montana. Also thanks to my friend Meredith for rocking it in the dress even when the spiders on the river banks tried to get her. (for the record I didn’t see any : ) )
