Your Sage Lodge Wedding Day
Sage Lodge is one of my favorite wedding venues EVER! The best part is, it’s only an hour’s drive from Bozeman, Montana’s largest airport. Sage is also one of the premier wedding venues in southwest Montana.
This is not some “roughing it” destination, this is refined luxury. 2 restaurants, a spa, several event options, and well-appointed houses and rooms make your stay here so memorable. Did I mention the amazing views of the Absaroka Range and Gallatin Range, plus the Yellowstone River to the west? Seriously, these are some of the best views in Montana!

Accommodations
Think of a luxury Montana experience. With 2 restaurants with bar service and and an amazing spa this is truly unforgettable stay. The Main Lodge rooms are cozy with their own fireplace and offer nice views, while the Ranch Houses provides a spacious house with all the amenities you could need. We often have one or both couples getting ready at one of the houses and or the the spa.
Getting Ready
Sage Lodge has several awesome options for getting ready on your wedding day. The large Ranch Houses and the Spa are both amazing for your team to get ready and dressed at. The Spa is an elevated space for gals to get ready with super tall ceilings, a killer view and a fireplace. This is a private spot on the property and away from the other lodging. Why not book some spa services the day of or the day before?!
The Ranch Houses on the far side of the property are amazing too. This can work for one or both of your parties getting ready. With several bedrooms and stylish decor these houses make for great photo opportunities! We have also often done your first look right outside the door for a private reveal and so scenic.
All the Ceremony and Reception Spaces for Your Sage Lodge Wedding
Every wedding and couple is unique, so the venue offers a variety of different spaces that cater to a variety of wedding themes and guest counts.
Ceremony Field
Right behind the rustic Ranch Houses, there’s a large field for your ceremony that can accommodate up to 300 guests. Share your vows surrounded by mountains and rustic fields, it’s awesome!
Reception Field
Now, if you’re dreaming of a larger wedding bash, the Reception Field’s got you covered. With Montana’s sky as your ceiling, there’s room for 500 guests to dance, laugh, and celebrate your day. And with Emigrant Peak in the background, the reception is going to be as unique and picturesque as they come.
Yellowstone Room
Wanna keep the celebration indoors without missing out on those killer views? Say hello to the rustic and refined Yellowstone Room. It’s got the space to hold 160 guests with floor-to-ceiling windows staring out at the Paradise Valley.
Yellowstone Lawn
Stepping out from the Yellowstone Room, the Lawn is where you get to say your vows in the beautiful outdoors of Paradise Valley.
The Yellowstone Lawn and Room allow you to mix the adventurous, outdoorsy vibes for your ceremony (and photos) and the comfort of an indoor reception. This is also a popular area to have an al fresco dinner or cocktail hour.
The Lobby – Perfect for winter weddings
Fancy having the whole place to yourselves? The Lobby’s what you’re after with a complete venue buyout. It’s luxurious with a rustic twist. We’re talking up to 200 guests, a grand fireplace, and awesome views of Paradise Valley.
Private Dining Room – The Grill
The Private Dining Room at The Grill serves up to 28 guests and has stunning views. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the Yellowstone River right to your table. It’s where fine dining meets fine scenery, ideal for making those pre or post-wedding meals extra special.
