Brittany & Jeff came all the way from Florida for a skiing trip at Big Sky Resort and planned an awesome engagement session while they were here. It was a gorgeous but chilly day, we even got a little snow. Of course I was prepared with layers, boots and mittens. My poor couple were freezing! But they were total rockstars and smiled through the cold. We started our time by meeting for a drink – just one! Two and we might have a sloshed couple and photographer, that is not recommended. I like to begin sessions this way especially with couples from out of state or that I haven’t been able to meet in person before. It loosens people up and makes for a fun experience.
Big Sky Montana Engagement
We had discussed the look and location ideas in advance and we headed out to several locations where the snow wasn’t too deep. Harder than you might think! The first stop proved too difficult but we were not dismayed. I had several other locations in the Meadow Village and near Moonlight Basin Resort. I loved the brightly red dress Brittany wore near the end of the shoot. Bold colors in the white snow create something so awesome. And I can’t believe she rocked it after already being so cold! We took several breaks in between to warm up of course, I don’t aim to torture the good Floridians. Thanks guys, it was awesome.
