320 Ranch Wedding Photographer Big Sky

This destination wedding at the 320 Ranch in Big Sky, Montana was amazing. Erin + Blair are some of the sweetest folks we have ever worked with and what a beautiful day! Seriously, last summer was cool, like barely had any days above 80 degrees. While some of the guests from California were chilly, we absolutely adored this day in the 70’s. Folks who have never been to Big Sky are often surprised at the temperatures during the warmer months, at 7,000 ft this mountain town doesn’t really get “hot”. Due to the lower temperatures summer we also had little to no fire season in 2019 in southwest Montana which was also amazing!

Erin + Blair live in Newport Beach, California but have family and friends in the Bozeman area. After spending time here each year, they knew that this was where they wanted to say ” I do”. We worked together to plan their day to make plenty of time for a first look and portraits later for sunset. Check out this first look, so sweet! I often advise people if they are doing a first look we do some portraits then and a few more portraits at sunset if possible. It works well to not be missing from their reception for too long and still get a variety of portraits. They picked such a great team for their wedding and the floral design from Jessica Anselmi was amazing! Her stylish design in the tent, those table runners (swoon) the arch and the brides bouquet. It was all dreamy…Our area has some really talented vendors for weddings and I get to work with the best of them. How do you pick great vendors when you live in another state? Ask the awesome vendors you have booked so far! Read reviews, how long have them been in business? Are all the reviews new or super old? Thankfully, with a little research you can see who is doing a killer job.
