Bozeman Senior Photography

Kaitlyn’s senior session was so much fun and the weather in July was simply amazing. When I meet up to chat about portraits I always try to get know people and their interests. Kaitlyn was game for any pretty location we wanted! I have a running list of great locations from over the the years so we headed out to several. Part of what makes my job so inspiring is the ever changing seasons and visiting around this beautiful state. I like to visit 2 or 3 locations during a shoot depending on logistics.

Senior photography advice:

  1. Bring along some clothing options, several outfits with maybe a lightweight jacket and accessories. This gives you some options.
  2. Consider professional hair or makeup, if it makes you feel gorgeous its worth it. Don’t do anything to drastic that doesn’t look like you!
  3. Have fun and try to relax, this is all about you!

What time of year to do senior photos?

You can do any season or even multiple seasons! For winter try to avoid the end of the season when snow melts and things get kind of ugly. Late summer in the west means forest fires. If you want clear skies and mountain views plan it before mid-July. Also, don’t forget the deadlines for your yearbook photo usually mid-late September.

Congrats Kaitlyn and the whole class of 2019!
