Congrats Lindsay + Dale on their Big Yellow Barn Wedding! These two are just about the sweetest ever. Seriously, Dale is so polite it adorable and Lindsay is all smiles. If there was ever a group that made my job a breeze it’s them and their friends. I jumped in the limo with the wedding party on the way back to the reception and had a crazy good time. Having 2 photographers makes these things possible, I usually have a second shooter unless it is a smaller wedding. My second shooter drove our car back and was getting detail photos and candids at the reception while we were popping champagne in the limo and stopping in downtown Bozeman. We stopped at their favorite bar, the Pour House for a drink and some downtown photos. It was a great time and so personal. Making your day all about your is the best part!
Bozeman Montana Wedding
Getting married in mid June in Bozeman, Montana you can never be too sure what weather you will get. It went from beautiful to pouring rain just in time for the first look. Now we come prepared with umbrellas and rain jackets but this was a downpour! We decided to skip the first look and head to the church and after the ceremony it was absolutely gorgeous out. One of the loveliest sunsets I remember, made the evening magical. One great thing about Montana weather is, if you don’t like it wait 5 minutes!
Big Yellow Barn
If you are looking to have the best view of the Bridger Mountains in the valley for your wedding this place is it! No matter the weather it is gorgeous and often results in rainbows after the rain in the summer. This restored barn is not only pretty from the outside the arched interior is so visually interesting. It is a great place for dinner and your reception and of course sunset photos.
