Port Orchard, Washington on Long Lake. Holy moly it was GREEN. In love with the greenery. This was my first destination wedding outside of Montana and it was awesome. Traveling with all my gear is a little stressful but all of it got there intact. Martin and I spent about a week in the Seattle area, why not- Seattle is fun. Taking a ferry to a wedding is all in a good days work right? The lovely Allyson and Tyler were married in Port Orchard on Long Lake on a beautiful summer day. I met Allyson and Tyler in Bozeman at the Downtown Bridal Walk and we had SO much fun during their engagement session I was super thrilled when they asked me to come to Washington. Check out their engagement session- Allyson + Tyler
I was joined by the lovely, Marela Pulido who was my second camera for the day. She did an awesome job and I totally recommend her! We had perfect weather for a wedding and even a friendly Tiki party boat was hooting and hollering as they went by the reception. One of the sweetest moments was when Allyson’s dad saw her for the first time before he walked her down the aisle- and another reason I always have a second photographer- this happened while the wedding party came down the aisle (where I was.) My trusty second camera lady was on it and totally caught this emotional moment. There were tears, hilarious toasts and homemade brownie cake with ice cream sundaes. It was awesome.
I am available for more destination weddings- seriously hit me up- I will hook you up. It is so inspiring to shoot somewhere new,in different environments and rolling with the changes!
